The Global Health Supply Chain-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) project is the primary vehicle through which USAID 1) procures and provides health commodities, 2) provides technical assistance to improve partner countries' management of the supply chain, and 3) collaborates with key international stakeholders to support global health initiatives. Responsibilities Include: Support integration and implementation of various GS1 standards-focused initiatives, including: GS1 XML-based electronic data interchange (EDI) in order-to-cash transactions (PO, PO Confirmation, advanced shipment notice (ASN)/Despatch Advice, Invoice), Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), Global Location Number (GLNs), etc. Support on-boarding of suppliers to the GS1 XML Despatch Advice message (e.g., reviewing sample files from suppliers for syntax/form and data; providing guidance and corrections/revision; etc.). Support Operational Excellence and MIS teams with implementation of GS1 XML transactions in coordination with EDI solution provider. Provide support to MIS team and operational teams regarding process optimization and supply chain best practices using GS1 standards. Provide project coordination support for the various Operational Excellence GS1 standards projects. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience including demonstrated experience with GS1 standards Strong organizational and planning skills. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think critically, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope requirements and prioritize tasks. The ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the enterprise and to work and communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals. Results oriented person with a strong delivery focus and can work independently and collaboratively with global teams. Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
