From holidaymakers to full-time landlords, host happiness is central to everything we do.About the role:We're looking for an energetic Growth Marketing Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive organic customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across various geographic markets (e.g. London, Paris, Sydney), for both of Houst's business models (i.e. our direct Airbnb management service and our franchise partnership).As such, we're looking for someone passionate about organic marketing, able to ideate bold experiments, design and implement test campaigns, as well as rigorously measure and report back on their results.Our ideal candidate will have some prior experience in a multi-product B2C or B2B digital marketing role (e.g. SEO, CRM, Content Marketing, Social, UGC, Referrals) and a keen interest in applying their skillset in the booming world of Airbnb-ing.Embedded within Houst's Cape Town office, you will be working side by side with the existing London-based Growth Team and reporting to the Head of Growth. You will also work closely with the sales, partnerships, and product team, and other stakeholders to experiment with initiatives aimed at accelerating Houst's growth and commercial success.So if you're excited about any of these and have a proactive, can-do attitude, you'll thrive in this role!Responsibilities:Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute innovative strategies to achieve company objectives through organic channels. Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to identify organic growth opportunities.Organic User Acquisition: Assist with the planning and execution of organic brand awareness and acquisition campaigns to attract new customers. Measure and report on the success of community growth and engagement against set targets/KPIs. Work closely with Sales Executives and Account Managers to understand their lead generation requirements and provide feedback to the Growth Team on how to implement better organic lead generation initiatives.Conversion Optimisation: Optimise conversion funnels and user journeys to improve conversion rates at various stages of the customer lifecycle. Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to identify and implement strategies that maximise conversion rates and customer lifetime value.Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilise data analytics tools (e.g. GA4) to measure campaign performance, user behaviour, and key metrics. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and actionable recommendations.Experimentation and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in organic marketing. Experiment with new tools, channels, and tactics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.Qualifications:Strong understanding of organic marketing channels, including SEO and backlink building, social media, content marketing, email marketing, affiliate marketing, community and UGC.Experience with Web Analytics (GA4, Hotjar), Marketing Automation Tools (Klaviyo), intermediate Excel.Curiosity and critical thinking to challenge the status quo, constantly ideating and proposing new experiments.Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple projects, tight deadlines, and adapting priorities.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Benefits:23 days paid holidays + public holidays.Hybrid working.An extra day off for your birthday - because who wants to work on their birthday?Medical Aid/Medical Insurance Options.Enviable company culture – we've put time into getting our work culture just right.
