A company in the property management industry that offers a tech platform, designed for property agents to streamline and automate rental processes, is looking to hire a Group Tax Manager to join their team in Stellenbosch. This tech platform is backed by experts in property, finance, risk, and technology, and specialises in secure, cloud-based applications. The technology supports thousands of users worldwide, with over a million properties under management. Key Responsibilities:Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings (corporate tax, VAT, indirect taxes, etc.) across all jurisdictions for the group. Collaborate with external tax advisors and internal teams to maintain proper documentation and compliance with tax regulations. Oversee the review and preparation of group tax provisions and disclosures for financial reporting, supporting quarterly and annual IFRS reporting processes. Manage the design, implementation, and upkeep of the group's transfer pricing policies and documentation. Ensure compliance of intercompany transactions with local and international tax laws and guidelines. Monitor and mitigate tax risks in coordination with finance, legal, and audit teams. Handle interactions with tax authorities, including managing audits and resolving disputes. Evaluate deferred tax positions across the group, taking into account jurisdictional tax incentives. Optimize the tax-efficient management of cash pooling within the group. Qualifications and Experience:Qualified CA(SA). 3-5 years of experience in a tax role. A strong understanding of international tax, corporate taxation, and transfer pricing is a requirement. Proven experience in managing tax compliance, reporting, and advisory within a large or multinational organization. Strong knowledge of tax legislation in key jurisdictions (e.g., UK, US, EU). Strong knowledge of UK Tax regulations within the technology sector. Salary:R800 000 - R900 000 / year CTC
