Responsibilities: Handle tax inquiries and complex tax issues, use tax research tools to resolve tax matters Review tax requirements, provide financial advice to stakeholdersAdvise on tax regulations specific to non-profit organizations (NPOs), ensure compliance with tax laws and exemptionsMaintain relationships with offshore tax advisors, ensure compliance with tax authorities and regulationsEnsure accurate tax accounting and compliance for multinational group entities, handle CIT calculations, returns, and deferred taxManage Central Finance's tax admin VAT, WHT, and payroll tax, review relatead documentsPrepare and review tax computations, maintain compliance and accuracyManage Tax Admin, liaise with revenue authoritiesRespond to tax authorities, conduct tax health checks, obtain tax clearance certificatesLiaise internally, ensure timely filing of quarterly and annual tax returns for clientsMonitor client tax compliance, review tax reports and produce key performance indicators (KPIs)Mange tax audits and administrative compliance, remediation of issues when necessaryMaintain group tax tracking schedules and prepare management and shareholder reports on tax statusKeep up to date with tax regulatory developments across all relevant countries, ensure the business is compliant with the latest regulationsRequirements: Minimum of a completed professional Accreditation SAIT, SAIPA, ACCA, SAIBA, AGA(SA), or CA(SA) or equivalentMinimum of 5 years post-article experience in tax, within a multinational or accounting practice5 years relevant experience in a corporate tax environment, Experience in dealing with auditors and tax authoritiesAdvanced MS Excel, numerical ability, and high attention to detailAdvanced knowledge of Sage preferredPlease note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
