A hotel group is seeking an experienced and motivated Group Sales Manager to oversee sales for two 4* hotels, one in Cape Town and the other in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hotel sales, with the ability to drive revenue across multiple properties.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to maximise occupancy and revenue across both hotels. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organisers. Identify and pursue new business opportunities for both properties, with a focus on group bookings, conferences, and events. Lead sales presentations and negotiations to secure high-value contracts and partnerships. Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies as needed. Provide regular reports on sales performance and business development activities to senior management. Requirements: Recent experience as a Sales Manager in a 4/5* hotel (+-4 Years). Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and meet revenue targets. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage sales for multiple properties, including travel between Cape Town and Johannesburg as needed. Familiarity with hotel sales systems and processes. A degree or diploma in hospitality management, business, or a related field. Competencies: Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Results-driven, with a focus on maximising revenue and guest satisfaction. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Candidates must be available for face-to-face interviews in either Cape Town or Johannesburg.
