A client, within the Hardware / Buildware industry, is looking for a Group Sales Manager.
Candidates must have industry experience within Hardware / Buildware. No other industry will be considered. The suitable candidate will oversee and manage the sales operations in the business.
Their main duties include designing plans to meet sales targets, developing and cultivating relationships with customers and evaluating costs to determine their product pricing when selling to customers.
Reporting to: the Director of the Company Only candidates who are already local to George or actively in the process of relocating will be considered. Remuneration: Total Cost to Company: R60k Duties & Responsibilities: Sells products by implementing national sales plans.Supervises Portfolio Sales ManagersProvides input into the annual sales targets per portfolio, plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for Portfolios / Branches / Regions and territories and projecting expected sales volumes for existing and new products.Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.Maintains sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand.Management of staff and sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.Plans, monitors, and appraises job results.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesRequirements and Skills: Meeting sales goalsNegotiation skillsSelling to customer needsMotivation for salesSales planningBuilding relationshipsCoachingManaging processesMarket knowledgeDeveloping budgetsStaffingAdvanced computer skills
