Group Risk Management Specialist: Data Analytics Key Responsibilities: Apply Agile project methodology to solve complex business problems by analyzing and interpreting key business and operational data to validate or challenge hypotheses.
Collaborate in a team to perform hypothesis testing, conduct interviews, analyze data, and formulate outcomes with actionable recommendations.
Define, quantify, and solve business problems across various functions including HR, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Technology.
Lead or participate in teams to deliver results through data analytics, using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Celonis.
Analyze and interpret business processes and operational data to verify or refute hypotheses.
Work closely with the team to ensure effective data analysis is based on clean, reliable, and dependable data.
Deliver impactful presentations to senior executives, providing insights and recommendations for corrective or preventive actions both regionally and globally.
Contribute to the design and development of an Enterprise Risk Management strategy and platform using innovative tools (e.g., PowerApps, Python, and R).
Explore, recommend, and lead the deployment of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to simplify and automate periodic reviews.
Champion the use of digital technologies within the team and with external stakeholders to improve sustainable risk management practices.
Actively support the development of the team's analytics capabilities to ensure a synchronized team strength.
Develop a strong contact network in a high-pressure environment and step outside your comfort zone to drive results.
Tackle new challenges and learn new processes on a quarterly basis.
Continuously monitor the operational risk environment, using data analytics skills and business acumen to proactively manage emerging risks.
Extract and analyze data from various platforms, and create reports using Power BI for testing purposes.
Qualifications and Skills: Strong background in Mathematics and data analytics.
Proficiency in data programming and tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Celonis.
Experience in Agile project management methodology.
Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to senior stakeholders.
Familiarity with risk management strategies and tools (e.g., PowerApps, Python, and R) is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
