The role will have responsibilities for various entities within the Group. A CA(SA) qualification is essential for this role, as well as 2 to 4 years commercial experience in a similar role.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIESFinance and reporting (monthly and annual responsibilities)GroupPreparation of Group flash and monthly management accountsDrafting and passing monthly Consolidation journalsGroup cashflow bi-weekly review, preparation of Group annual budgetGroup banking administrationReview businesses tax schedules and prepare Group tax schedulesManage Group internal and external auditsEnsure subsidiary AFS are signed off and assist with drafting Group AFSAssist with preparing workings for Group audit deliverablesHead OfficeReview Head Office annual budgets, VAT returns and Trial BalanceP/L actual vs budget variance analysis as well as preparation of forecastingReview monthly GL reconsFixed Asset managementPayment authorisation and releaseOpex authorisation (workflow approvals)Adhoc support to Group FMTaxDeal with SARS and SARS related queriesReview of tax computationsCompletion and submission of annual, provisional returnsIFRSEnsure IFRS compliance as well as good corporate governance for GroupQualifications and ExperienceCA(SA) with 2-4 years commercial experienceUnderstanding Group consolidation and reportingMust be a self-starterSAGE X3 experience is beneficialAdvanced MS ExcelExperience in a group environment is beneficialPackage & RemunerationR 800 000 - R 1 000 000 - Annually
