A hospitality group is seeking a Group HR Manager to oversee the human resources function for two 4-star properties in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The ideal candidate can be based in either location and will be responsible for managing HR policies, recruitment, and staff development across both properties.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the group's business goals. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes for both properties. Manage employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution. Ensure compliance with labour laws and health and safety regulations. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures across the group. Manage payroll processes, tracking attendance and working hours to ensure accuracy. Implement training and development programmes to support employee growth. Lead succession planning and ensure strong talent pipelines for key positions. Prepare and analyse HR reports, monitoring metrics like turnover and employee engagement. Collaborate with the General Managers of both properties to align HR operations with business needs. Requirements: SA citizen. Recent experience in an HR management role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of labour laws, payroll management, and HR best practices. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to travel between Cape Town and Johannesburg as required.
