SALARY AND BENEFITS: R50 000 – R90 000 CTC p/m negotiable based on experience
DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS:
As a key member of the management team, the Group Finance Manager will play a vital role in ensuring financial compliance, tax efficiency, and strategic financial planning across the Business, for multiple countries. We require a tax-savvy individual, as a large portion of the role is attributed to compliance with multiple tax systems across Africa. It's a strategic level role but also requires an understanding and involvement of what's happening at the operational level, so a "hands-on" individual will be well suited.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified Chartered Accountant - CA (SA)
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in financial management
Hands-on experience with multiple global tax systems and thorough knowledge of Double Taxation Agreements.
Strong technical abilities in international tax systems, consolidations, and reporting.
Hands-on experience with Xero and ERP systems
Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
Experience in working across multiple countries with cross-border financial regulations
Background in mining, geophysical, or civil engineering sectors is advantageous
Willingness to travel between international offices
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee financial management, ensuring compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals
Manage working capital: cash flow, foreign currency, and supplier payments
Manage foreign currency and exposure to prevent losses
Pay suppliers, staff, taxes etc on time
Lead the global finance team, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and tax submissions
Provide financial reporting and analysis to support business growth
