Job & Company Description:A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Group Financial Manager to become a key member of their dynamic finance team. As a Group Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the following:Apply accounting principles to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive financial reports for the group and all statutory entities.Lead and mentor the Finance Team (including Creditors, Cashbook, HO Debtors, and Accountants) to optimize performance and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.Oversee daily financial operations and provide ongoing support to the business on all financial matters.Manage the general ledger and ensure timely and accurate reconciliations.Ensure supplier obligations are met in accordance with agreed terms.Review and approve all company payments.Safeguard the integrity of the fixed asset register and tax asset register.Prepare Annual Financial Statements for the group and all statutory entities.Implement, modify, and document accounting systems and control procedures to ensure robust financial management.Prepare tax computations and ensure compliance across the group.Maintain company documentation related to WCA, tax, and banking.Manage the timeline for BEE requirements and audits, working closely with BEE consultants and internal teams.Oversee external audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.Review and authorize VAT calculations and submissions.Prepare balance sheets, cash flow statements, variance analyses, budgets, and financial forecasts.Compile Board packs and present financial information.Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly finance KPIs.Lead digitization initiatives to integrate financial systems and improve efficiency and data accuracy.Support the CFO in achieving the finance departments strategic objectives and outcomes.Proficient in JDE and Excel. Qualifications: Completed Finance degreeCompleted SAICA or SAIPA articles Experience:Minimum 5 - 10 years experienceManufacturing industry is preferred
