A leading manufacturing company is looking for a Group Financial Manager to join their vibrant finance team. As a Group Financial Manager , you will be responsible for the following: Apply accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports for the group and all statutory entities. Coach the Finance Team (including Creditors, Cashbook, HO Debtors, and Accountant) to ensure optimal performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Monitor daily financial operations and provide support to the business on all financial issues. Oversee the general ledger and manage reconciliations. Ensure that supplier obligations are fulfilled according to agreed terms. Review and authorize all company payments. Ensure the integrity of the fixed asset register and tax asset register. Prepare the annual financial statements for all statutory entities and the Group. Install, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting systems and control procedures. Prepare tax computations and ensure compliance across the group. Maintain company documentation related to WCA, tax, and banking. Manage the timeline for all BEE requirements and audits by collaborating effectively with BEE consultants and various departments. Oversee external audits. Review VAT calculations and submissions. Prepare balance sheets, cash flow reports, variance analyses, budgets, and forecasts. Create Board packs. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly finance KPIs. Drive digitization initiatives, integrating financial systems and data to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Support the CFO in delivering the expected outcomes from the finance department. Proficient in JDE and Excel.
