Key Responsibilities: Lead the financial planning, reporting, and analysis to optimize financial performance across all mining and exploration projects.
Implement robust financial controls and risk management practices, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and sustainability standards.
Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management, tailored to the unique cycles of the diamond mining industry.
Engage in strategic financial planning and analysis to support business expansion, project feasibility studies, and capital investment decisions.
Ensure compliance with local and international financial and tax regulations, including those specific to the diamond mining sector.
Foster relationships with financial institutions, investors, and partners, enhancing the companys financial position and access to capital.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills A Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or equivalent international qualification.
At least 5-7 years of experience in a financial management role, with a preference for experience in the mining sector, specifically diamond mining.
Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, fiscal policies, and tax laws applicable to the mining industry.
Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations and strategy in a complex, project-based environment.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging effectively with internal and external parties.

Reporting Structure This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and works closely with senior management to drive financial strategy and health for the organization.
