Reference: NPr000750-EHo-1JSE-listed alternative power solutions conglomerate seeks to employ the services of an experienced Group Financial Manager to join their dynamic head office team based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.Please note: This is a FTC maternity cover for 6 months.Duties & ResponsibilitiesJob & Company Description:The purpose of this role will be to take responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and running of finance activities for group, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.This position will report directly to the Group CFO.Duties include, but are not limited to:Develop financial well-being of group by providing full spectrum of financial servicesReview and interpret monthly management accounts, and further recommendationsAnalysing and identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancementConduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities, assist with strategic analysis and planningEstablish finance and operational strategiesReview and sign off journalsAssessment and implementation of internal controlsPrepare interdivisional reconciliationReview head office and operational GL reconciliationsManage banking and treasury functionsPrepare annual financial statementsConsolidation of budget templatesAssist with implementation of new systemsSupport project analysis and validation of plansEducation:Qualified CA(SA) essentialJob Experience & Skills Required:5 to 6 years' post articles experience in a full function group finance role essentialProject environment experience preferred (retail / manufacturing / wholesale / distribution)Experience with cost control and financial analysis essentialStrong people management skills essentialUnderstanding of BI Tools essentialStrong analytical skillsStrong organizational skillsStrong presentation and communication skillsStrong business partnering and reporting skillsBusiness and financial acumenMeticulous attention to detailPackage & Remuneration:R 1000000 - R 1100000 - AnnuallyAPPLY NOW!If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
