A leading player in the industry is seeking an experienced Group Financial Manager to join their dynamic team. Our clients' reach extends internationally, providing exposure to diverse markets and opportunities.As the Group Financial Manager, you will be a pivotal part of the leadership team, responsible for steering the financial strategies, optimizing performance, and ensuring fiscal accountability across operations. Your responsibilities will include:Assist the CFO to ensure sound financial management and controls are in place and continuously improved.Prepares financial reports, forecasts and budgets for the Chief Financial Officer to support the financial decision-making process.Generating quarterly reports for the Board and Audit & Risk Committee meetings.Monitors and ensures compliance with IFRS.Digitisation of various excel and labour-intensive reporting and forecast modeling tools and support the Company's digitization journey.Responsibility for the IFRS and other control improvement projects.Monitors and oversees the consolidated credit control function, people leader role.Ensure compliance with the policies and procedures.Provide financial support as required by other functions in the organisation including business strategic initiatives.Review of capital investments including IRR calculations.Assist with the ad hoc requirements of the Chief Financial Officer.Responsibilities include the preparation of consolidated financial accounts, establishing accounting policies/procedures, ensuring compliance of subsidiaries and/or divisions and group credit control.Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:Matric (Grade 12)BCom AccountingBCom Honours / CTACA(SA)Experience:Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in financial management roleMinimum 3 years' experience in a managerial or leadership roleManufacturing exposure is a BIG WINSkills & Competencies:Analytical, investigative, inquiring, rational, sound, systematic, logical and astute.High level of attention to detail & ability to work under pressure.Exceptional planning and organizing skills.Agile and resilient in a high performing environment.Structured, disciplined, self-starter and driven.Personal resilience and toughness in maintaining standards.
