The role requires a highly assertive and results-oriented individual who works with a strong sense of delivering quality work and thrives in a fast-paced setting.About the RoleThe Group Financial Manager is responsible for internal and external financial reporting and liaising with finance teams throughout the group. The Group Financial Manager has 3 direct reports and reports directly to the Group CFO.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the finalization of the annual audit processRegulatory reporting:Oversee and review the annual group QRT return for the groupOversee and review the consolidated results of the group to assess the impact of potential risk scenarios as part of the annual ORSA processJSE reporting requirements:Liaise with the group's sponsors on various SENS and other reporting requirementsManagement information:Preparation, review, and reporting of monthly management accounts, including flash resultsMonthly Credit and Investment Committee reporting and attending these meetingsReview monthly balance sheet reconciliationsMonthly reporting to the group's Operating CommitteeSpecial projects:Assisting various finance teams across the Group with special ad-hoc reporting requirements and requestsDesired Experience & Qualifications5 years' experience in the Financial Services Sector in a Group environmentStrong leadership, management, and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage and integrate with a teamStrong analytical and numerical skillsDelivering results and meeting management expectationsAbility to work under pressureStrong accounting and financial services knowledgeStrong knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting skillsAbility to communicate at Executive levelAbility to package and communicate financial information in a clear and concise mannerComputer literacy; Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Package & RemunerationShould you not have had a response within 7 days please consider your application as unsuccessful.
