The role requires a highly assertive and results-orientated individual who works with a strong sense of delivering quality work and thrives in a fast-paced setting.About the role: The Group Financial Manager is responsible for internal and external financial reporting and liaising with finance teams throughout the group. The Group Financial Manager has 3 direct reports and reports directly to the Group CFO.Desired Experience & QualificationKey ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the finalisation of the annual audit processRegulatory reporting:Oversee and review the annual group QRT return for the groupOversee and review the consolidated results of the group to assess the impact of potential risk scenarios as part of the annual ORSA processJSE reporting requirements:Liaise with the group's sponsors on various SENS and other reporting requirementsManagement information:Preparation, review and reporting of monthly management accounts, including flash resultsMonthly Credit and Investment Committee reporting and attending these meetings.Review monthly balance sheet reconciliationsMonthly reporting to the group's Operating CommitteeSpecial projects:Assisting various finance teams across the Group with special ad-hoc reporting requirements and requestsStrong leadership, management and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage and integrate with a teamStrong analytical and numerical skillsDelivering results and meeting management expectationsAbility to work under pressure Strong accounting and financial services knowledgeStrong knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting skillsAbility to communicate at Executive level Ability to package and communicate financial information in a clear and concise mannerPackage & Remuneration5 years' experience in the Financial Services Sector in a Group environmentComputer literacy; Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Should you not have had a response within 7 days please consider your application as unsuccessful Consulting These jobs were popular with other job seekers
