We have a superb hybrid opening for an experienced Group Financial Director at a fully integrated, renowned national brand and communications agency in Johannesburg. We're looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with big agency experience to fill this exciting role of Group Financial Director to keep a close eye on the bottom line.
As the Group Financial Director, you'll drive the financial success of the company, and will have a team of 12 reporting to you. Your role involves overseeing finances, ensuring compliance, and aligning financial goals with growth objectives. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with experience working in a fast-paced creative environment at a big advertising or marketing agency.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:

Qualified and Registered Accountant CA (SA)
A minimum of 10 years' experience
Experience in managing a team of direct reports (currently twelve people)
Able to perform at a financial, operational, commercial, and strategic level
Able to operate in a high pressure and high-paced, entrepreneurial environment
A high performer
Self-starter
Big picture thinker
Able to interact at Group Exco and Board level
Knowledge of, and experience in, the advertising, communications and/or media industries – a must.
