Group Financial Accountant (******)Full-timeWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Group Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be registered with SAICA as an AGA(SA) and possess 1-2 years of post-articles experience. In this role, you will manage key accounting functions for our head office companies and provide support to the National Financial Manager and Group CFO with group-wide financial activities.Head office companies:Accounting for Debtors (Intercompany transactions)Accounting for Creditors (Incl. Creditor reconciliations and payment preparation)Cash book allocationPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliationsPreparation of VAT reconciliation and capturing of VAT return on eFilingSupport audits and liaise with auditorsBudget preparationPrepare and/or review Financial StatementsGroup responsibilities (assistance to National Financial Manager and Group CFO):Assist with BBBEE preparation throughout the yearIncome tax return completionsAssist with Treasury function and Cashflow ManagementAssist with Monthly consolidated financial reportsAssist with Annual consolidated budgetsAssist with Ad-hoc improvement projects within the GroupAssist with year-end (Incl. preparation and/or review of Annual Financial Statements and liaise with auditors)Minimum Requirements:B.Com Accounting degree and Honours (CTA)Registered with SAICA as AGA(SA)Recently completed SAICA articles (1 to 2 years post article experience)Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) – Advanced (Macros and VBA not a requirement)Attention to detail with a focus on accuracyExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work in a team environment and independentlyDemonstrate interpersonal skills and business awarenessAble to work under pressureStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsClosing Date: 31 October 2024Salary: Market relatedIf you struggle to upload your CV please visit our website at www.clearleaf.co.za.
