Group Financial Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a talented Group Financial Accountant to join our clients finance team based in Johannesburg. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for shaping the financial strategy and ensuring robust reporting for the entire group. Your expertise will be crucial in developing financial strategies, managing budgets, and providing insights to drive strategic initiatives and business growth. As a Group Financial Accountant, your duties will include preparing and presenting accurate financial statements, consolidating financial reports from multiple subsidiaries, and maintaining an up-to-date fixed asset register. You'll be involved in financial analysis, including trend and variance analysis, and will design internal control procedures to safeguard company assets. You'll also play a key role in stakeholder communication, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting ad hoc financial assignments.
