Group Financial Accountant

Duties:Presentation of group consolidated results to the groups executive management on a monthly basisPreparation of group reporting templates and coordinating quarterly, interim and year end reporting acrossthe groupPreparation of group consolidated financial statements for half year and full year resultsPlanning and controlling the annual external audit processAssisting with preparation of annual integrated reportPreparation of quarterly group board reporting (CFO report, Solvency and Liquidity etc.)Preparation of technical accounting papers relating to group accounting issuesReviewing of technical accounting papers and opinions prepared by subsidiariesUpdate of group wide accounting policiesReviewing the JSEs annual pro-active monitoring report to the audit committeeManagement of the consultation with the auditors on technical accounting mattersJob Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:MatricBCom AccountingBCom Accounting HonoursCA(SA)Experience:Completed SAICA articles.6 - 8 years post articles experience in a group reporting roleProven knowledge of IFRS 9 will be highly beneficialProven experience in preparation of group consolidated AFS in line with IFRSSkills & Competencies:IBM Cognos ControllerTM1CDMAdaptive InsightsTableauShould be able to provide strategic input on financial mattersAttention to detail and good problem-solving skillsHave strong leadership and management skillsIf you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
