Group Finance Manager

LOCATION: Kempton Park
SALARY AND BENEFITS: R75000 – R90000 p/m CTC depending on qualifications and experience
DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS:
As the Group Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial management of multiple group companies, ensuring compliance, financial health, and driving strategic initiatives. As a key member of the leadership team, you will mentor, guide, and upskill your team while improving financial processes and ensuring the organization meets its growth and operational goals.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BCom degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
At least 10 years of experience in senior finance roles, preferably in the manufacturing, mining, OEM, or similar industries.
Experience with Kerridge or similar ERP systems highly beneficial.
Strong knowledge of financial consolidations, stock management, imports, and leadership of finance teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee financial operations for group companies, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering continuous improvement.
Handle financial group consolidations and monthly reporting.
Drive cash control and risk minimization strategies.
Collaborate on high-level decisions concerning policy, strategy, and business development.
Ensure timely filing of legal and regulatory documents, maintaining full compliance.
Manage banking operations including payments, foreign transfers, and bank reconciliations.
Process and oversee statutory returns: VAT, EMP201, EMP501, and income tax submissions.
Review management accounts, analyze financial data, and prepare audit packs.
Manage the group's debtors book, ensuring accuracy in intercompany reconciliations.
Lead budgeting and forecasting activities.
Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date asset register for the group.
