Oversee financial reporting functions, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other regulatory frameworks. Manage regulatory compliance and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies. Implement and oversee risk management strategies, ensuring that financial risks are identified and mitigated. Provide leadership in tax and treasury management, optimizing financial operations and cash flow. Collaborate with senior leadership to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives. Stay abreast of trends and developments in investments and stockbroking and integrate financial insights into broader business strategies. Requirements: CA(SA) qualification with a strong academic record. Extensive experience in the financial services industry, with expertise in group consolidation, financial reporting, and compliance. Proven experience in risk management, tax, and treasury functions. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial frameworks within the sector. Interest and exposure in investments and stockbroking will be an advantage. Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making.
