JD Specialized Recruitment is currently partnering with a company who owns a portfolio of restaurants in Hermanus to recruit an experienced and dynamic GROUP EXECUTIVE CHEF NB – Looking for a chef that is hands on in the kitchen, that assists with service and oversees prep Requirements Culinary qualification from a reputable institution preferredExperience as an Executive Chef or Group Executive Chef preferably with experience managing for multiple restaurantsStrong culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisine typesAttention to detail and ability to create innovative and appealing menusAbility to lead, manage and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staffStrong organizational, delegation and time management skillsKnowledge of food safety and sanitation regulationsAbility to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStable employment history and contactable references.PLEASE NOTE - Although we appreciate all applications received, we will only reply to those candidates who have the background and experience required.
