Industrial manufacturer and supplier of top-quality products across the African continent has an exciting opportunity for a CFO to join their team.
Report directly to the CEO.
Position is based in the South of Johannesburg.
Successful incumbent will need to be a qualified CA(SA) with 8-10 years commercial experience as a CFO within the Industrial, Manufacturing and/or Steel industry.
Be responsible for managing Financial Managers of 3 trading companies, monthly and year-end financial reporting; factory order systems - ensure they are operating efficiently and are well-maintained, accurate and relevant; internal controls; oversee the accounting and information systems; submit respective companies Annual Returns online to CIPC as well as other secretarial requirements; forecasts; SARS e-filing; stand in for FM's in their absence for banking and other urgent matters; assisting with costing and pricing issues; assist Directors with the general management of the business; reporting; daily banking and treasury functions; HR assistance; BBBEE; AFS; insurance; POPIA; assist the CEO with the due diligence exercise for any potential merger and acquisition; draft, review and/or edit purchase / sale or restructuring agreements; salaries and wages; journals; debtors; stock; organise, value and control annual stock take; creditors; VAT; fixed assets and GL.
