Group Category Specialist – Contracts

As an Executive Search and Career Consultant specializing in the niche market of Supply Chain, we represent some of the top leaders and are called upon by blue chip organizations in the country to secure talent and assist them in building high performance teams.A leading Chemicals company is looking for a Group Category Specialist - Contracts to be based at their offices in Johannesburg.KPI's:Develop, revise, advise and establish Contracts strategies taking cognizance of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement initiatives.Monitor that suppliers / contractors are selected, approved, audited against defined standards.Participate in project teams and serve as an advisor on contracting issues.Establish a central contract database.Effectively manage contracts review and variations.Develop all relevant contract documents and templates.Ensure all supply contracts are aligned to group policies and supported or approved by group legal.Assist compile tender documentation and special conditions for high value orders and/or contracts.Requirements:Com / Bsc / BTech university degree or NQF equivalent in the relevant field.Minimum of 6 - 8 years' experience.Understanding of Chemical Industry experience.Working experience in international organisations across functions and cultures.Supply market and supplier relationship management expertise.Understanding of technical and commercial levers.Ability to set up supplier contracts.Understanding of procurement system.Please send your CV to ****** and quote the job title in the subject line.The People Shop (Pty) Ltdwww.peopleshop.co.za021462 2828
