Group Accountant

A company in the property management industry that offers a tech platform, designed for property agents to streamline and automate rental processes, is looking to hire a Group Accountant to join their team in Stellenbosch. This tech platform is backed by experts in property, finance, risk, and technology, and specializes in secure, cloud-based applications. The technology supports thousands of users worldwide, with over a million properties under management.Key Responsibilities:Compile and consolidate the group's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and accompanying schedules.Facilitate preparations for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements across financial records and processes.Contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.Provide support for group-related projects and initiatives.Qualifications and Experience:Qualified CA(SA).0-2 years of experience in a similar role.Experience with financial consolidation, group reporting, and intercompany transactions is a requirement.Experience with Microsoft Office; particularly Excel.Salary:R660 000 - R720 000 / year CTC
