Group Accountant

Completed B.Com Accounting Degree / Management Accounting essential Minimum 5 8 years experience required as an Accountant within a Manufacturing / Retail industry Strong literacy on Excel and Syspro Must be able to work in a very pressurised and deadline driven environment Duties will include - Responsible for the Trial Balance, Income Statement and Balance Sheet Reconciling balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis Processing and recordkeeping of all adjustment journals, to be approved by Group Financial Manager and Director Reconciling balance sheet account on a monthly basis (inventory costing and work in progress) Preparation and reporting on monthly management accounts to management Performing day end, month end and year-end on SYSPRO system Expense provisions management Nedfleet management Creditors and Expenses Cashbook Recordkeeping and filing Design, review, document and implement internal controls Annual Audit Budgeting
