Group AccountantLocation: Johannesburg - North (Sandton / Midrand / Diepsloot)Type: Permanent, Full TimePublished: 17 hours agoReference: JHB002225-DN-1Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Requirements:Solid working track record in financial reporting and accounting preferably in professional services or constructionB Com honors, CA (SA) or CIMASound knowledge of income taxExpert in ERP systemsDevelop and continually project a strong sense of ownership of your scope of work and expand your role in the officeAct with the utmost integrity and trust in your dealings with clients, directors, shareholders and staff membersBe proactive in your approach to your work and deal with problems in an efficient mannerBuild trust through personal conductKey Responsibilities:Take and maintain responsibility for the maintenance, operation and proactive application of financial management tools and reporting systems relevant to the Group businesses and their business environmentContinually develop appropriate types of financial reports related to the businesses to enable better planning and better-quality decision making and risk managementUse the Deltek Vision suite software applications as an accounting and reporting platformUse the VIP payroll administration software and ESS for leave applicationsIssue statements and invoices to the clients, based on proactive study and understanding of commercial agreements concluded between the companies and their clientsRegularly review and maintain the Chart of AccountsAttend Board meetings of all companies held once every 4 monthsImprove cash flow through efficient and regular invoicingManage inter company invoicing for the use of shared resources and equipmentMaintain compliance with SARS, the compensation commissioner and the CIPC in respect of the required regular returns. Assist with the financial documentation of bids, proposals and design competitions as the situation arises.Advise the directors on withholding tax provisions in different countries on the African continent, where the company carries out project work and ensure these provisions are priced into bids that are made to international clientsPackage & RemunerationR650 000 - R720 000
