Group Accountant

Participate in operational meetings and workshops, providing strategic input and driving business outcomesEnsure robust financial controls are in place, aligned with business needs, and refined for operational excellenceBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders, offering expert support and ensuring understanding of financialsDeliver actionable financial insights and standard KPIs to the team, ensuring all data is understood and utilized effectivelyReview and enhance financial controls within the group, ensuring design and execution of processes are efficient and impactfulManage the month-end process, ensuring seamless monthly reconciliations, accurate forecasts, and timely budget updatesTake charge of statutory compliance, insurance management, BBBEE reporting, and ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are metOversee the audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors, ensuring smooth communicationDrive innovation in financial processes and systems, constantly seeking ways to improve efficiency and streamline operationsSkills & Experience: At least 5 years of accounting experience with a strong background in a Group or Shared Services environmentProven expertise in implementing and maintaining effective controls within a complex group structureExtensive experience in managing the month-end process including preparing detailed monthly financial reportsExceptional stakeholder management abilities with a focus on fostering collaboration and delivering resultsPractical experience with BBBEE management and reporting is highly desirableQualification:Degree in FinanceCompleted SAIPA or SAICA articles will be beneficial Contact HAYLEY MULDER on
