Group Accountant

Participate in operational meetings and workshops where requiredEnsure strong Financial controls aligned with business requirementsInteraction with internal stakeholders and providing support where neededCommunicate findings to the team and provide standard finance KPIsAssist internal stakeholders with understanding of financials and assisting with queriesReview all financial controls within the group to ensure design is effective and execution is efficientEnsure financial controls are communicated and adhered toContinuously assist in reviewing GL structureMonthly reconciliations of the balance sheet accounts to be completed and reviewedManagement of month-end, forecasting, ad-hoc reporting and budget processAssist with all statutory, compliance, insuranceAssist with BBBEE management and reportingManage the Audit Process and communications with auditorsContinuously innovate financial business processes and systems Skills & Experience: A minimum of 5 years of accounting experienceExperience in a Group or Shared Services companyAbility to ensure efficient controls in a Group environmentManagement of month end process including monthly reportingStakeholder managementAbility to assist in BBBEE reporting Qualification:Degree in FinanceCompleted SAIPA or SAICA articles will be beneficial Contact ALEXANDRA MALONEY on
