This career opportunity is available at Santam's Corporate Services in the Financial Management department. The role is based in Bellville, Cape Town.
The Group Financial Accountant will be party of the statutory reporting and IFRS technical function of the Santam group.
You will:
• Prepare consolidated and stand-alone IFRS-compliant annual financial statements.
• Prepare IFRS technical memos dealing with M&A transactions, general accounting and new IFRS standards.
• Present IFRS training.
• Interact regularly with the external auditors.
• Assist with ad hoc tasks within Group Reporting team.
