Qualifications:Valid Reach Stacker Operator certification/license. 45-ton certificate.Minimum of 5 years of experience operating a reach stacker or similar equipment.Matric.Familiarity with safety protocols in logistics and warehouse environmentsAbility to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.Capability to lift or move items as needed (weight specifications may vary).Must be comfortable working in outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions.Key Responsibilities:Operate the reach stacker to handle cargo and containers according to operational requirements.Load and unload containers from trucks or storage areas.Stack containers systematically to maximize yard or warehouse space.Follow all safety guidelines and regulations when operating equipment.Conduct pre-operational inspections of the reach stacker to ensure functionality and safety.Report any equipment faults or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and hydraulic systems.Ensure the reach stacker is kept clean and in good working condition.Communicate effectively with team members, including warehouse staff, truck drivers, and supervisors.Respond promptly to work instructions and prioritize tasks.Maintain accurate records of operations, including container movements and daily equipment logs.Ensure compliance with operational documentation processes.Strong knowledge of warehouse or yard operations.Proficiency in operating a reach stacker or similar equipment.Understanding of load weight limits and stability factors.Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.How to apply:
