Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Conceptualise and develop original graphic designs that align with our brand identity and seasonal themes.Ensure all designs reflect our brand's aesthetic and maintain high standards of visual quality and originality.Constantly drive innovation in the design space.Under direction, develop guidelines to ensure consistent design work is produced for the brand.Under direction, take responsibility for curating the brand assets and crafting and housekeeping of the brand's graphic elements.Qualifications And Experience:Diploma/ Degree in Graphic Design.3+ years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer with experience in the relevant categories of Lifestyle and Homeware advantageous.A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator).A proficiency in print and digital design is necessary with a good understanding of design requirements for social media platforms.An understanding of the print production process with an ability to produce finished artwork for print is necessary.Editing and multimedia skills advantageous.Skills:Ability to work well under pressure.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Detail-oriented.Strong influencing skills.Excellent planning, organisational, and interpersonal skills.Excellent time management skills.Good judgement and problem-solving skills.A resourceful and can-do attitude to all eventualities.Behaviours:Applies market and business insights in order to drive organisational objectives.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other designers, marketers, and stakeholders.Creates an environment that fosters and nurtures a culture of creativity.Develops plans and prioritises initiatives that align to the organisational goals and objectives.Work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting where every day brings new challenges and opportunities.Assesses and improves the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of various design processes.Quickly adapts and acquires new knowledge, skills, and competencies in a rapidly changing environment.High level of EQ and resolution driven.High level of tolerance and resilience.Must be able to be decisive and handle pressure.Leverages new technology to enhance productivity, improve problem solving, and support business growth.Preference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.About Us:Who we are is because of our people.
