Main purpose of the job: To assist with writing persuasive proposals and managing the grant application process from start to finish Location: Parktown, Johannesburg Key performance areas: Ensure proposals are well-organized, coherent, and address all required components and variables in the context of the study Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to gather necessary information for proposals Customise proposals to align with the goals and priorities of both the funding organization and our organization Manage the entire grant application process, including drafting, editing, and submitting proposals in a timely manner Coordinate with finance and administrative staff to gather financial documents and ensure budgetary accuracy in proposals Track and monitor the status of submitted proposals and follow up as needed. Assist in preparing narrative/funding/other progress reports and updates for grantors, as required. Maintain comprehensive records of all grant applications, reports, and correspondence Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with funding organisations and program officers Assist in preparing narrative/funding/other progress reports and updates for grantors, as required.
