IntroductionMANCOSA, a DHET registered and CHE accredited private higher education distance education provider, offering undergraduate and postgraduate business qualifications, has the following vacancy available: Graduation and Certification Administrator – Durban.
CORE PURPOSE To provide support and assistance to the Graduation and Certification Department by assisting with the various processes and administration within the department to ensure that MANCOSA meets its strategic objectives and goals. This position entails the administration of the logistical arrangements for the graduation ceremonies and day-to-day operations in the department.
CORE FUNCTIONS INCLUDE MANAGING THE FOLLOWING Schedule meetings and minute takingPerform the administration of the departmentRespond to student queriesAssist with all graduation processesAssist with the coordination and logistic arrangement of the graduation ceremoniesMaintain records tracking and filingConduct research on trends and competitor analysisEngagement with external suppliers and stakeholdersQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum 1 year experience in administration and events coordination and planningJOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Experience with events coordinationExcellent writing skillsKnowledge of regulatory body requirements (e.g. SAQA, DHET and CHE)Good understanding of the Higher Education landscapeProficient in MS OfficeGood sound background of ITPlanning, organising and negotiating skills
