The Graduate IT Asset Management Analyst will support the SAM Specialist to manage IT Assets (hardware and software) from planning to retirement across a wide range of platforms. They will strive to reduce the total cost of ownership while maintaining agreed-upon service levels.
You will evaluate the software licensing needs for the organization and actively track licenses to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
The ideal IT Asset Management Analyst would be someone who excels in computer software for an organization, ensuring that all software meets the company's technical needs and complies with licensing terms. They would be responsible for tracking software and hardware assets, resolving compliance issues, maintaining procedures, and monitoring life cycles. Additionally, they would have strong analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a deep understanding of IT asset management analytics, operations, and administration. They would also stay informed about the latest industry trends and best practices to optimize the organization's software assets effectively.
The Graduate IT Asset Management Analyst will be required to execute effective & efficient IT Asset Management (SAM) practices and processes.

Commercial Management
License Management
Inventory Management
Compliance Management
Request and Provision
Management reports for compliance and effective license position (ELP)
Interaction with the Integral Asset management team
Drive maximum value from our license agreements for Cloud, Server and End User Computing Software, while delivering a seamless experience for our users with daily and strategic management and control of the software portfolio to optimize the value, cost, and risk of software.
Maintain accurate, and current software and hardware asset inventory on the Snow Software Asset
Assist with the control of hardware assets in the IT storeroom and receipt of deliveries from vendors.
Engage with stakeholders and business owners as required as per the IT Asset Management framework, standard, policies, processes, and procedures.
Identify risks, savings opportunities for renewals, and license harvesting potential.
Identify, define, measure, report and improve key indicators for in-scope publisher/title(s)
Create Software License Management and related Reports / Dashboards and drive automation.
Apply the group risk, governance, compliance, regulatory frameworks, and standards, including SAM policies, standards, processes, and risks.
Apply collaboration skills in business reviews and issue resolution regardless of team boundaries and lead communication with relevant stakeholders through to conclusion.
Contribute to high-performance team environment and culture as a high performing member of a self-directed team aligned agile working environment.
Proactively seek and provide feedback across a range of stakeholders for the benefit of the team and leverage feedback to consistently improve ITAM service delivery.
Assist end-users with software installations and associated troubleshooting. Qualifications:
Requirements:
Be a Graduate or Final-Year Student when applying
Have an average of 70 % and above in marks from first year to final year
Matric Mathematics score – 60% and above
South African Citizen
Under the age of 35 years
Interest in the world of gaming
Willingness to learn new technologies
