Who are we? Sanlam Life and Savings (SLS) is focused on serving our retail and corporate clients in South Africa and further developing our strategic advantages in the South African market. Sanlam Life and Savings consists of three clusters - Sanlam Corporate, Sanlam Retail Mass and Sanlam Retail Affluent. The Sanlam Life and Savings Office provides strategic direction, coordination and support to the three clusters, as well as performing governance oversight that includes assurance provided by second line of defense functions in SLS, to enable us to meet our business objectives.
Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to the Learning and Development team.Provide administrative support for Learning and Development programmes.Co-ordinate and assist with Internship and Learnership programmes.Responsible for uploading and maintaining management systems.Provide basic advice on HR policies and processes.Minimum Requirements:Be South African citizens.Be in the 18 to 35 year age bracket.Not currently on any other INSETA programme.Presently unemployed and not studying.Diploma or Degree in Human Resources.Knowledge:Knowledge of HR practices and principles.Knowledge of legislation which influences Learning and Development (Skills Development, BBBEE Act).General Administration of processes.Management of data capturing/records.Technical skills:MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Outlook.Experience:No experience required.Core Competencies:Being resilient - Contributing dependently.Customer focus - Contributing dependently.Collaborates - Contributing dependently.Cultivates innovation - Contributing dependently.Drives results - Contributing dependently.Turnaround time:The shortlisting process will only start once the application due date has been reached.
