Job Advert Summary
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR disciplines, including HR Business Partnering, employee relations, recruitment, talent management, and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) & Wellness. The ideal candidate will support our HR initiatives and contribute to creating a positive and effective work environment.
Minimum Requirements
Education

Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines – Commerce, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Management or Organisational Psychology
An Honours degree in any of the above fields will be advantageous.

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering

Assist HR Business Partners in delivering HR strategies and solutions that align with business objectives.
Support the implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
Participate in meetings with business leaders to understand their HR needs and provide appropriate support.

Employee Relations

Support the management of employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
Assist in conducting investigations and preparing related documentation.
Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.

Recruitment

Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Support onboarding activities for new hires.

Talent Management

Support talent management initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, and development programs.
Assist in the administration of learning and development activities.
Help maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

EVP & Wellness

Contribute to the design and delivery of Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and wellness programs.
Support initiatives that promote employee well-being and work-life balance.
Assist in organizing wellness events and activities.

Rewards & Benefits

Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs.
Support the development and communication of total rewards strategies.
Conduct research on industry best practices and market trends in compensation and benefits.
Help manage employee inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and rewards.
