The practice equips and supports line managers and Human Capital management to effectively engage with employees through contracts, policies, practices and processes, in the context of labour legislation.
It also partakes in actions related to risk management and technical training.
The Practice also ensures that sound employee relations within Old Mutual and its associated companies are fostered, particularly with the trade unions and employees at large.
Key Result Areas As a Graduate Intern within the Employment Relations field you will be exposed various parts of the practice area including: Administration related to ER and EE functions Management of the ER calendar in respect of the engagement forums Secretariat and logistical functions in respect of the engagement forums Communication with unions and internal stakeholders Case management for the legal advisors Training support with CCMA matters support the ER team with any ad hoc requests Key Required Experience, Qualification & Skills Degree in Human Resources & Law or a LLB.
Must be a South African citizen under the age of 27.
Have achieved a minimum 65% average in your final year (across your major subjects The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit in question.
