Job Description The Employment Relations Practice sits within the Group HC space and is responsible for providing advanced or specialist employee relations support for Old Mutual Limited. The practice equips and supports line managers and Human Capital management to effectively engage with employees through contracts, policies, practices and processes, in the context of labour legislation. It also partakes in actions related to risk management and technical training. The Practice ensures that sound employee relations within Old Mutual and its associated companies are fostered, particularly with the trade unions and employees at large.
Key Result Areas Administration related to ER and EE functionsManagement of the ER calendar in respect of the engagement forumsSecretariat and logistical functions in respect of the engagement forumsCommunication with unions and internal stakeholdersCase management for the legal advisorsTrainingSupport with CCMA mattersSupport the ER team with any ad hoc requestsKey Required Experience, Qualification & Skills Degree in Human Resources & Law or a LLB.Must be a South African citizen under the age of 27.Have achieved a minimum 65% average in your final year (across your major subjects)The appointment will be made from the designated group in line with the Employment Equity Plan of Old Mutual South Africa and the specific business unit in question.
