GOAT CAMPAIGN MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
REPORTING TO: Head of Goat (in future as the team grows to the Head of Campaign Management)
The role will focus on delivering end-to-end campaign management for brands working with Goat. The role will help with the growth of Goat which aims to support our agencies in broadcasting their clients' messages via content and Influencer Marketing channels, which we deliver at scale.
As a Goat Campaign Manager, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our proposals and campaigns meet the highest standards, are competitive and communicate GOAT's capabilities, offerings and value in the best possible light.
LEADING AND SUPPORTING ON CAMPAIGNS
Successfully lead individual campaigns up to the value of R350,000.
Successfully provide support on campaigns to campaign leads up to the value of R1,400,000.
Demonstrable ability to be in control of at least 7 successful campaigns simultaneously.
Effectively answer questions from team members to help guide decisions.
Ensure SOWs and briefs are understood, campaigns are running smoothly, and discuss priorities and targets effectively.
Identify problems on a campaign and escalate to senior management if necessary.
Support Account Managers with influencer and campaign matters on client calls.
Discover influencers for the campaigns that are briefed into Goat.
Manage budgets effectively throughout the campaign.
Make drastic changes to a campaign approach based on live campaign data.
INFLUENCER RELATIONS
Keep up with influencer marketing and social trends.
Be active on social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
Write and relay influencer briefs in detail during the onboarding process.
Perform outreach to influencers/influencer Talent Managers.
Build rapport with influencers/talent agencies.
Communicate the Goat sign-up process and data-driven positioning.
Negotiate influencer fees confidently.
Manage influencer relationships and ensure content is correct and distributed on time.
Manage campaign deliverables throughout the lifetime of the campaign.
Handle all influencer communications throughout the campaign.
REPORTING AND ANALYSIS
Provide succinct updates to account managers and line managers for campaign reports.
Share learnings about influencers in line with campaign performance.
Use performance metrics to drive influencer decisions.
Understand how paid media is running across accounts.
STRATEGY AND KEY SKILLS
Lead proposals from the campaign side.
Identify upselling opportunities across campaigns.
Write messaging, influencer captions, and paid copy for posts & stories.
KNOWLEDGE OF DIGITAL PAID MEDIA
Good knowledge of paid media.
Certifications on Meta (planning) and TikTok (Planning).
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND INTERNAL PROCESSES
Draft SOWs and work with Account Managers to resolve issues.
Share accurate information with Finance on active campaigns.
Ensure influencers are paid accurately and on time.
