Our client has an exciting opportunity for a GM in the Public SectorRequirements:4 years tertiary qualification in Commerce or equivalent.Having a MBA or Masters would be an advantage.Sales accreditation will be an advantage.10+ years' experience in sales with 5 years' experience in sales leadership for the Public Enterprises.Good decisional strategies.Mental agility to understand complicated business challenges.Drive ethical business practices by holding others accountable.Build relationships with relevant stakeholders.Be able to work flexible work hours.Be available to attend functions after hours.Valid driver's license and your own transport.Valid transport and be available to travel locally and internationally.Be available to travel.
KPAs:For Large Enterprises:Meet budget and revenue targets.Meet and exceed market share expectations.Meet and exceed targets for new sales.Meet and exceed targets for new mobile sales.Exceed Customer Satisfaction.Meet EE targets as per required for the year.Achieving sales targets.Ensure satisfactory client experience.Be the overall custodian for customer engagement.Develop sales strategies.Effectively manage budgets.Ensure timely sales and forecasts.Lead, develop and coach the public sales team.Improve employee engagement.Build a professional public sales team.Meet annual equity targets.Ensure team compliance.Develop and drive the execution of agreed projects.Risk Management.Perform business analysis in line with the methodology and guidelines.Identify business improvement opportunities.Recruit people with outstanding skills, qualifications and potential.Performance management and identification of training needs.Manage employee equity and diversity.Build talent by identifying and developing new leaders.Communicate actively and clearly resolving any conflict that may arise.Manage contributions and expectations.Understand the need to train.Build employee relations and encourage teamwork.Provide specialist advise as required.Initiate in projects as required.Cross functional integrations between departments.Recommend innovative solutions to improve performance and ensure continuous improvement.Implement cost-saving activities.Adapt to new environments easily.Influence, direct and motivate others.
