The Girlswear Designer Overview We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Girlswear Designer to join a succeeding fashion company, working across wovens, denim and outerwear.
The Girlswear Designer will have a keen eye for trends and a creative flair, with the ability to product best selling customer ranges.
The Girlswear Designer Responsibilities Attend regular customer meetings, work on customer briefs and present finished rangesLiaise with factories overseas daily, and attend sourcing tripsAnalyse current and future trends and interpret this into commercial rangesCreate detailed tech packsAttend comp and inspiration shopping tripsThe Girlswear Designer Skills Fully competent using Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopExcellent communication, particularly working between factories and the customersConfident in your abilities and when presenting designsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAdditional Info The Girlswear Designer will report into the Design Director and will have previous experience in a similar role, licensed design experience would be beneficial although not essential.
