An opportunity exists for an exceptional Girls Junior Prep Sports Co-ordinator to join the school from 01 January 2025.
Duties (not an exhaustive list):
Responsible for all Grade 0 - 2 Physical Education lessons
Responsible for the planning and running of all JP Sports demonstrations and sporting events
Host coffee mornings and parent meetings relating to sport in the JP
Assisting with the Senior Prep sports programme – coaching and officiating (weekdays and weekends)
Building the curriculum taking developmental phases into account
Engage and inspire girls, encouraging a love of physical activity and sportsmanship
Select, train and monitor coaches
Coach and umpire as appropriate
Required Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualification
SACE registered
3 years of physical education teaching experience working with children aged 5 - 8
Experience in coaching and officiating several different sporting codes
Accredited swimming qualification (LTS)
Must be a proficient swimmer
Junior Prep teaching experience would be advantageous
Own transport would be advantageous
