An AI-Expert Rater Team Leader, who will guide a dynamic team in refining and enhancing AI-powered advertising systems. This role is crucial in the mission to create exceptional data-driven products, and the successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the team's success.

Qualifications:
Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a global setting;
Strong skills in addressing challenges and optimising workflows;
Experience in implementing performance management systems and providing constructive feedback;
Skilled in navigating disagreements and managing sensitive content;
Clear and concise communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts;
Understanding of best practices for data labeling and annotation;
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute to process enhancements.
Knowledge:
German and English fluency in oral and written communication;
Intermediate knowledge of Google Workspace and familiarity with AI technologies and ethical implementation;
Understanding of ethical considerations in content evaluation and handling sensitive material;
Familiarity with Google AI learning paths and machine learning concepts.
Studies and Experience:
1 year of university studies (desirable);
At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a technical or data-driven domain;
Desirable: Background in data labeling, annotation, or social sciences.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and mentor Expert Raters, ensuring proficiency in content evaluation and AI compliance standards;
Global Team Management: Coordinate global teams, ensuring effective communication across time zones and cultures;
Administrative Oversight: Manage payroll, PTO requests, and performance reviews for the Expert Rater team;
Quality & Compliance: Lead initiatives to improve evaluation quality, refine processes, and ensure compliance with AI standards and policies;
Performance Tracking: Implement strategies to monitor and enhance the performance and efficiency of Expert Raters;
Data Analysis & Decision Making: Provide expertise in analysing datasets to identify meaningful patterns and trends;
Collaboration & Best Practices: Work with other Team Leads globally to establish and maintain best practices and consistency in product strategy.
