Performing site assessments to evaluate soil, rock, and groundwater conditionsCreating stable and safe designs for foundations, retaining walls, and earthworksProviding expert guidance on soil mechanics and geotechnical principles, working with cross-functional teamsConducting advanced geotechnical analysis using specialized softwareOverseeing construction to meet geotechnical specificationsEnsuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and industry best practicesManaging the implementation of geotechnical design solutionsSkills & Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineeringValid drivers license and strong communication skillsProficient in report writing and Microsoft Office SuiteExperienced in project management and meeting deadlinesKnowledgeable in relevant legislation and geotechnical design codesFamiliar with Department of Transport and SANRAL design methodologies (TMH21)Skilled in geotechnical software and modeling toolsExpertise in geotechnical design and analysis according to local and international standards Qualification:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related fieldProfessional Engineer (Pr.
