Job Description:Performing site assessments to evaluate soil, rock, and groundwater conditionsCreating stable and safe designs for foundations, retaining walls, and earthworksProviding expert guidance on soil mechanics and geotechnical principles, working with cross-functional teamsConducting advanced geotechnical analysis using specialized softwareOverseeing construction to meet geotechnical specificationsEnsuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and industry best practicesManaging the implementation of geotechnical design solutionsSkills & Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years geotechnical engineering experienceValid drivers licenceStrong communication skills and Interpersonal skillsReport writing proficiencyKnowledge of relevant legislationProficient in Microsoft OfficeIndependent and organizedProject management experienceTime management and deadline-focusedKnowledgeable in Department of Transport and SANRAL design methodologies, including TMH21 (DER)Proven geotechnical engineering experience, ideally in consulting with construction supervisionProficient in geotechnical software and modeling toolsProficiency in geotechnical design and analysis per local and international codesQualification:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related fieldProfessional Engineer (Pr.
