Responsible to assist with all general functions to ensure that the S&V1 department reach their production target.
Requirements: Grade 10-12 2-3 years' working experience of the functioning of S&V1 department. Basic knowledge of warehouse functioning. Physically fit and be able to work on your feet for long hours. Be able to follow instructions and work independently. Be prepared to work overtime and shifts when required to do so.
Skills: Communication. Teamwork. Problem-solving. Adaptability. Flexibility and dependability Attention to detail. Good interpersonal skills Be able to function under pressure. Target driven.    
KEY FUNCTIONS: General duties: Puts bales on the tables. Weigh the bales and write on the bag the weight. Ensure that you take the correct lot to the tables for the sorters. After sorting write down on the worksheet internal reference number, bale number and the weight of each sorter. Give the information to the supervisor. Effective transportation of wool. Perform any other ad hoc activities/duties/tasks/ as requested by the supervisor or management in the plant.  Adhere to the rules and regulations of health and safety. Ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards. Maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
