Job Description: VVater is seeking a reliable and versatile General Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a broad skill set and the ability to perform various tasks across multiple disciplines, including essential maintenance, repairs, and operational support.
This role requires adaptability, a proactive attitude, and working effectively in diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal functionality.Assist with installing, troubleshooting, and servicing electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.Operate tools, machinery, and vehicles as required, ensuring safe and efficient use.Support operational needs, including setting up workspaces, moving materials, and assisting with special projects.Conduct inspections and identify potential issues, recommending and implementing solutions as necessary.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.Provide general support to specialized technicians, engineers, or supervisors as needed.Respond to service requests promptly and efficiently, prioritizing tasks based on urgency.Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reports and documentation for compliance purposes.Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent and vocational training or technical certifications are a plus.Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, or technical work.Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or construction systems.Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, and equipment.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working in various environments.Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles if required.Good communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and adaptable attitude.Note: This job description is not exhaustive.
